How it works

Made from a by-product of wheat milling that would otherwise go to waste, CATSAN™ NATURAL Clumping litter quickly forms stable clumps when in contact with moisture, allowing you to remove them with solids, while keeping the rest of the tray clean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Laura from Very very good cat litter I have been using a different eco clumping litter and was happy until I tried this! It’s brilliant. There is barely a fragrance from it and it clumps really well. I have read reviews that complain that it sets too hard but that’s what makes this so good. It clumps rock hard and so there’s not little straggly bits of urine stained litter around the tray. It all clumps up perfectly and scooped out. Yes sometimes this means it takes a little pushing on the clump as it sticks a little to the tray but once you push it then it comes away and is a perfect clump. I am having to change the whole litter less often! It’s amazing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by SarahD from Best litter I have ever used I've been used to wood pellet litter as I found it controlled the smells well but this litter is a game changer. My cat used to drag sawdust everywhere but this is much better. Low odour even when the cat's done a few wees and great clumping power. If wees are left too long before scooping the clump does get harder and sometimes sticks a bit to the tray but I've tried an alternative natural/eco litter and it doesn't compare. Although costly per bag I'm not having to change our full litter trays and so it's probably actually friendlier on the purse strings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Happy me from Absolutely brilliant litter I have two cats and one is a complete and utter litter tray Princess with toilet issues. I have tried different brands and have been unsuccessful. This litter however makes for perfect litter tray time with a very happy Princess. The negative reviews about it sticking to everything is down to user error. I know this as I had the same issue. Basically there is not enough litter in the tray so it can not clump together. A bigger layer is needed for it work correctly, once that happy balance is found it is absolutely amazing. I will not bother to try another brand. It does have a mild smell but it is not unpleasant, it reminds me a little of oatmeal. Would highly recommend this litter but with the advice of use a deeper layer for it to work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Heidi from Overall Great Pros: Light, clumps well, compostable, great odour control Cons: Sticks to the sides of tray and bins like clay, making it hard to clean trays and bins. If clumps in bin, goes mouldy fast. Put compost bin liner in bin to solve that problem, and it is less likely to stick to the tray sides when kept topped up. This is my go to though because it is compostable, and so light. Best product of its kind.

I’m searching to find Catsan natural clumping again. It has a lovely fresh wheat smell. Odour control is great, and it lasts longer than the others without odour. Clumping is great and easy to remove. My cat loves it too

I find the clumping convenient for disposal I.e poop in the loo& clumps into the correct bin. Leaving the scoop in the loo whist stop flushing removes residue. I love being more eco friendly & the cats like it too.

It doesn't track everywhere, little to no dust, nice natural smell....bit like oats as someone else said. My cats love a dig in this. 20l last ages and clumps really well.

The smell is awful and penetrates everywhere, it's really difficult to remove urine clumps and the litter is spread over a large area by my normally quite tidy cat
